Olivier Denappe brings more than 25 years of experience in Business Development, Sales and Structuring with leading international banks, one Oil Major and one Asian Exchange. With particular expertise in Energy, Precious and Base Metals, Denappe is an expert on the Asian commodities markets. He spent most of his career starting up and growing new businesses, particularly in Commodity Derivatives, Physical and Financing solutions, and has held senior leadership positions in Asia, Australia, Europe and the United States.

Over the course of his long and distinguished career, Denappe built a diverse customer base, ranging from global companies to key local players across sectors like oil and gas, mining, trading and aviation.

Prior to working at DME, Denappe did a 5 year stint at Natixis and served at Standard Bank as Head of Energy Trading and Sales for the Asia-Pacific region. He has also held senior Trading and Marketing positions with Societe Generale and Credit Agricole as well as with Compañía Española de Petróleos (CEPSA), a Spanish multinational oil and gas company.

He holds an MBA from the University of Hartford in Connecticut, USA.
